Brand Identity

In the 1950s, 60s, and 70s, Acapulco represented the ultimate in luxury and glamour. That’s how the creation of the restaurant Praya took place, to revive the golden age of Acapulco and being able to give back to people the experience of that exclusivity and magic.

We explored a graphic atmosphere that evokes singularness, under the concept of club society with a touch of nostalgia. This brand identity is inspired by organic shapes and movements that are found on the beach. The logo is flexible and offers multiple possibilities of use.

With a broad typographic system and color palette of green tones that give the brand a sense of simplicity and connection to Acapulco. We applied a simple but efficient graphic system, whose minimalist design works also when embossed to give their merch that special touch, as seen on their coasters, towels, t-shirts, postals, flyers and signs.
